| Application Notes | • This is an overnight incubation assay requiring 25 µL of 1:10,000 dilution plasma or serum, or 25 μL of diluted tissue/cell lysate or culture supernatant per well (dilution factors may vary).
• This kit may be used for the analysis of all or any combination of the cancer biomarkers in serum, plasma or tissue/cell lysate and culture. However:
o Serum has a thrombin/antithrombin III complex bound to vitronectin.
o To accurately quantify antithrombin III concentrations, plasma samples are more appropriate because they lack the vitronectin/thrombin/antithrombin complex, better providing true values. |
