| Description

| Overview | RNase-free DNase I digests either single- or double-stranded DNA, producing a mixture of mono- and oligonucleotides. Purified to be free of RNase, this preparation is qualified for applications in which maintenance of the integrity of RNA is critical. The enzyme selectively degrades DNA in the presence of RNA and can be used to remove DNA template following in vitro transcription reactions. This enzyme is also useful in other applications such as DNase footprinting and nick translation. For applications requiring the use of DNase I
for random double-stranded cleavage of DNA, try DNase I, ds Qualified. |
