| Application Notes | Before using, preheat at 37°C to 45°C for 10 - 20 minutes to dissolve precipitants and mix thoroughly. Use 1 ml for every 15 cm2 membrane for prehybridization and hybridization. Prehybridize for 60 minutes at 42°C to 45°C. Hybridize overnight at 45°C to 52°C. Prehybridization and hybridization temperatures may have to be determined empirically. Refer to the Nomograph located under the "Protocols" link at S4040 product specific page for hybridization temperatures with various stringencies guidelines. |
