| Storage Conditions | Store at 2° to 8°C, for up to 6 months.
Chemicon HRP conjugated antibodies may be diluted up to 1:16,000 in EPA II Buffer. Diluted conjugates are stable for at least 3 months when stored at 2° to 8°C. The buffer is suitable for direct use in ELISA.
EPA II Buffer is compatible with blocking agents such as skim milk powder, Tween 20 and normal serum. However HRP conjugates should not be stored in the presence of these blocking agents. They should be added just prior to use in the assay.
PRECAUTIONS:
HRP conjugates should be diluted and stored under clean conditions to reduce the level of microbial challenge.
Sodium azide must NOT be added to EPA II Buffer.
Avoid contamination of HRP conjugate solutions with heavy metal ions, aromatic chlorocarbons or hypochlorous acids. Avoid containers made of soda glass or polystyrene. Storage of diluted conjugates in borosilicate glass is recommended.
Efficient washing steps should follow HRP conjugate incubations. In ELISA, at least four thorough wash cycles are recommended. |
